A very friendly atmosphere and lovely people. Cheap drinks. Nice to not have to spend a fortune on a drink.

Please AVOID- the moral and legal conduct of this company is questionable to say the least. After charging very high prices to use their venue for a wake, the grieving family are now being chased with £100 court fines for parking which they told the family was free. At no point during the booking process did they tell the family that all vehicles would need to be registered on a tiny screen hidden in the corner of their bar in order to make the parking free. Unbelievably, the grieving widow is being forced to send multiple documents to prove that people attended the wake, when she would simply like to forget that day altogether. Whitfield Club have been contacted several times as they have the ability to just cancel the fines, but they’ve made zero effort to help and blame the parking on ‘the committee’ of the club, as if they’re a separate entity. Their behaviour is wrong on so many levels both morally and contractually. AVOID at all costs.

Run by lovely people this place was welcoming and great for kids to attend. The Halloween party was amazing! Thank you for having me to attend.

The Whitfield Club keeps getting better & better. Bar is clean & modern, toilets refurbished, function hall refurbished (and for hire). Friendly, welcoming staff, excellent quality drinks £s cheaper than the high street. A safe, friendly, family-oriented membership. Regularly hosting member events so popular they've even opened a cocktail bar! A real gem worth checking-out. Take your family.

Comfortable seating. Reasonable location in the village. However, the barmaid lacked hospitality skills and was more interested in playing her own music than anything that might appeal to customers. It seemed very quiet for a Sunday lunchtime. Perhaps, the lack of "atmosphere " is the issue?

Good bar prices. Nice area, staff friendly. But downgraded due to the parking idea. Now £1 per hour or you have to put your number plate in a machine. That's located on the bar so long queues to check in when attending for a wake which wasn't very pleasant. It also got in the way of people ordering drinks. Needs to be placed elsewhere or preferably free like it's always been

A great venue for parties and weddings. There's plenty of parking outside and all the facilities inside, including a kitchen, stage area, toilets and the optional bar. The hall is a good size to accommodate larger parties but doesn't feel too big if you're only having something smaller. Reasonably priced too.

My mother and I attended the Whitfield Club for Step class on a Wednesday evening. Large function hall with sound system, stage and dance floor. Decor is quite dated however it is generally clean and well kept. Rather large carpark

Came to this venue to host a party. Venue could really do with some cleaning up. There seemed to be very little in terms of facilities. No kettle or cutlery etc and everything was locked away. Ceiling tiles were missing and whole place just felt run down 😏
